At the Coffee Bunker veterans can make connections with other veterans, representatives from other veteran organizations, resource people related to employment and education, and others who can facilitate transition to civilian life.
Find Community
Veterans can transition to civilian life easier when they have a community for a base. The Coffee Bunker is all about community to support vets. You can experience community in a variety of ways: events, holiday get-togethers, activities like art classes, crafting, and meals, entertainment, and opportunities to volunteer.
Receive Support
In attempting to make full transition to civilian life, veterans need support in a variety of ways. Support through the Bunker is available for life basics: food, clothing, and a place to gather. Peer support is available for managing personal issues, being successful in college, finding and keeping employment, family enrichment.
